"I found it to not hold still wile cutting pre finished plywood. That could be because it was very slippery with the lacquer finish I hope its better when I try regular un finished wood, the saw is very good"

"Difficult to line up and once you do it easily gets out of line wirhin a few cuts. The plastic has way to much flex. It needs to be made heavier/thicker to reduce the slop."

"I hate working with big sheets of plywood on a table saw, so when this tool went on sale, I jumped on it. It has made this part of my projects go so much quicker, with less time, measuring for the offset and more accurate cuts. Feels lighter and easier to move across the plywood than any of my other circular saws too."
"Coming from a heavy 30+ years saw I inherited, it is a relief the light weight of this saw, and after 6 months of use (about a few cuts every other weekend) now it feels natural how to depress the safety lock before the trigger (I took me some time to get used to it)… on the positive side, it does cut very good and it is very easy to adjust and to follow a line with it… on the side of the opportunities, a couple of annoying things, the first one that really make me think on not to use it on light colored veneered plywood (birch) is that the baseplate finish fell off the very first time I mounted the saw on the Accucut guide, now it stains everything I cut with a blackish dust (aluminum oxide?) which becomes a problem when cutting materials that you need to be careful sanding and that need to maintain a very light color, it does take more than a little sanding to get rid of the stain… thankfully is not as big a problem on walnut veneered material… the other annoyance, not as serious but still causing me trouble is the orientation of the dust port, pointing directly to the back of the saw… it just take a very little wind to get all the sawdust over me, so I rarely use it without a vacuum hose which, to a degree, defeats the purpose of being cordless… finally, the blade seems to me that it does not last enough: just this weekend it started leaving slivers at the end of the cuts (2x4 pine lumber), the surface of the cut is still of very good quality but those slivers seem to me the end of the perfect cuts of a new blade… borrowing a saw for my birch plywood I made also a comparison to a green-means-go circular saw of a neighbor and that one feels a little lighter but more importantly, it does not stain my material also having an aluminum alloy baseplate… still a very good saw but I was hopping for higher quality"

"Returned it, my Dewalt has much more power. Maybe I had a dud but the guide was great. I wish they had an aluminum shoe like the saw has built in. The plastic one did work fine for my Dewalt."
