Mortise too big
"I have several kreg tools and jigs and very happy with the results. When I used this door hinge jig I was extremely disappointed. The final result was the mortise was 1/16" too long. I have made my own jigs for this job but it was for 1 3/8" doors. I usually have to tap the hinge into the mortise with a hammer for a perfect fit. Had to mortise a 1 3/4" exterior door and thought this would be an excellent addition to my door hanging arsenal. Guess I'll have to make my own or buy someone else's jig."

"I was impressed by how easy it was to setup the door hinge jig and it only required slight adjustments to support a pre-hung door casing with new doors. I did notice that the mortice was slightly larger than the hinge (1/16") which made lining up the hinges a little challenging. All in all, easy to use and quick setup made the job go very smooth"
