We’re selecting a small group of DIYers and woodworkers to get the new Kreg® Edge™ — FREE — and put it to work on a project. Submit your idea, show your skills, and if selected, you’ll receive a Kreg Edge Loose Tenon Joiner to build, share, and inspire makers.

We'll review applications and choose a small group of makers with strong project ideas, solid building experience, and the ability to complete the challenge within the required timeframe.
Get a FREE Kreg Edge & Build
If you're selected, we'll send you a free Kreg Edge so you can bring your project to life. Then you'll document the process, share the finished build, and show other DIYers what the tool can do.
What You'll Do
This challenge is for DIYers and woodworkers who are confident in the shop, excited to try new tools, and ready to create a project that showcases both their craftsmanship and the capabilities of the Kreg Edge.
What selected participants will need to provide:
• A completed project built using the Kreg Edge
• In-use photo or video showing the Kreg Edge in action
• Photos of the finished project
• A photo of the maker with the finished project
• Short feedback responses about the building experience

The Edge Build Challenge is open to individuals 18 years or older who reside in the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia. Employees of Kreg Tool and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
Applications will be evaluated based on:
- ability to complete the challenge based on your experience level and skillset;
- suitability for the program and alignment of your goals for the challenge;
- the thoughtfulness and completeness of your responses; and
- your availability to participate throughout the full challenge and ability to create useful and engaging project content.
Selected participants will receive a Kreg Edge to use while building their project. Completed projects may be featured on KregTool.com for a community voting and judged experience. The featured project with the highest overall score—based on a combined evaluation of 60% expert judging and 40% public voting—will receive a $500 KregTool.com gift code, subject to verification and compliance with the official rules.
Participants will be notified no later than July 15. You'll have until August 31 to build your project and complete all challenge requirements. Dates are subject to change.
If selected, participants are expected to actively take part in the full challenge experience and complete a project using the Kreg Edge.
As part of participation, you'll be asked to:
- Build a project using the Kreg Edge
- Capture and share photo(s) and/or video(s) of you using the Edge during your build
- Provide photos of your finished project
- Submit at least one photo of yourself with your completed project
- Complete a short questionnaire about your experience using the Edge
