- Will the Jig work to drill on the flat surface of a 3 inch wide board?
- Yes, that will work.
- I need to center dowels in 1.5" x 1.5" chair legs. Will this work for that task?
- You can use this with that application, but you will need to purchase the 1/2" upgrade kit. That will allow you to set those holes 3/4" back from the edge which will be center of that 1-1/2" thick board.
- Any plans to make a 5/16" guide as well? Several combo packs of dowels come with this size. It would be a great size to use for 3/4" plywood shelves that could use a little more strength without compromising the integrity of the plywood itself
- At this time, we do not have any plans of making one.
- Would this be appropriate for edge joining 2x or 8/4 stock? Everything seems show it only with 1” or less stock
