The Kreg 20V Ionic Drive™ 6-1/2" Plunge-Cut Track Saw offers consistent high-quality cuts with minimal splintering due to the anti-chip strips on the track and splinter guards on the saw. It also has a variety of features that aid in improving accuracy and safety for the user, such as plunge depth and bevel adjustments, 6 speed settings for cutting different materials, anti-kickback controls, an electronic blade brake, and a fully shrouded blade. Other guided cutting solutions may require an external sled or require the users to calculate an offset to their cut line. In a track saw system, you can align your chip strip to where you want to cut, and the track is directly integrated into the baseplate of the saw, making it much faster and easier to use.

The Kreg Adaptive Cutting System Universal Tracks come in 26 ½", 55" and 62" sizes. The size you need depends on your workflow and the size of materials you tend to cut in your workflow. For example, for smaller crosscuts in hardwood boards or framing lumber, a 26 ½" track is perfect, while the 62" track is a great solution for cross cutting full sheets of plywood. For ultimate flexibility, you can combine multiple sections of track with our Universal Track Connector Bars, giving you extra cutting capacity when you need it, and the ability to use smaller track sections when you don't. 

This really depends on your workflow and available storage in your workspace. If you find yourself consistently making crosscuts on full sheets of plywood, the 62" track would be a great solution for that. However, if you have a limited amount of storage space for larger tracks, or you find yourself making a lot of cuts on narrower boards, having smaller sections of track and a set of connector bars may fit your needs better. With three different sizes and the ability to extend your tracks as needed, the Adaptive Cutting System is designed to be able to evolve as your needs do. 

The Adaptive Cutting System Universal Track is not directly compatible with our legacy plunge saws (ACS-SAWBB and KPTPS100A). However, we do offer a replacement baseplate (ACSPLATECT) in order to retrofit your saw to fit our new universal track.  

The Kreg 20V Ionic Drive™ 6-1/2" Plunge-Cut Track Saw and Universal Tracks can perform many of the functions traditionally done by a table saw in your shop. For example, the mobility of a track saw makes tasks like breaking down plywood, much easier than doing so on a table saw. You can take the saw to the sheet, rather than having to move the sheet to the saw. The fully shrouded blade, spring loaded riving knife and anti-kickback controls can also improve safety over a table saw. Track saw solutions offer a great way to keep the functionality of a table saw without requiring the space that a typical table saw might require in your shop. 

To expand the capabilities of your Adaptive Cutting System Universal tracks, Kreg offers a variety of accessories. The Kreg Universal Track Connector Bars allow you to connect multiple lengths of track to expand your cut capacity when needed. The Kreg 90° & 45° Track Saw Square can be attached to our universal track to quickly and consistently align the track for 90° and 45° cuts. Our Kreg VersaGrip Track Clamps can also be utilized with our tracks to provide extra hold down force when cutting materials with an uneven or slick surface finish.
