I could not ask for more

"This finished my third day with the Edge and I am thrilled. I was planning on buying the expensive competitor when I read these were coming out and I could not wait. Accuracy and balance are dead on and far surpassed my expectations. Being cordless is perfect for my small shop with no cord in the way and on a good weather day do prep work outside. On the down side it takes a new type of battery and charger and I wish somehow it could get standardized but for now it is like dust ports. This is fast, clean and every one from the first was perfectly aligned. The pricing was fine I just wish my Woodcraft had a good stock of the tenons,"

Worth Every Penny

"I was lucky enough to get early access to a Kreg Edge to build a couple of MCM chairs. The tool is ever better than I imagined it would be. It’s easy to use and intuitive. It make the work so much faster, easier, and fun. I’ve read some comments about concerns with buying into a new battery platform. I totally get it. I have multiple tools using another battery type. But the cost of an Edge with battery and charger is only $50 more than the bare tool. That $50 is more than made up for with the freedom of movement you get when using the tool. Plus, battery life is terrific. I could use the tool for an entire day with no loss of power. It’s really a phenomenal tool. You’ll love having one."

I’m looking forward to this new tool

"It would be awesome, and would definitely increase sales if you developed a corded version! Even an adapter to use batteries of other brands would be great. The issue is that beginners, or even hobbyist woodworkers typically aren’t going to drop $500 for a tool they will only use on a limited basis. I believe most individuals who would buy the Edge are those that have wanted a Festool Domino, but are unable, or refuse to pay the high price. However, many of those who are interested in the Edge already have a battery platform and the last thing we want is yet another tool brand with yet another battery platform. That is my only issue with buying the Edge when it’s released. At a minimum I hope a high amp battery and charger is included in the $500 price of the Edge. If you don’t develop a corded version, hopefully someone will develop a battery adapter so we can use the battery platform we currently have."
