"juist got to use it today, very eazy tool to learn how to use properly. did a small glue up of one inch thick boards for a small table top keep them very will alined. with provided measurements eazy to make up wood inserts to use with tool. foam insert makes for eazy storage in one of my cabinet drawers."
"Connecting on the ends of the material is easy money. Works like charm. Dust and chip removal works great in any position. Was a little worried about that. I probably have 25 hours using this baby. Connected everything from 3/4" to 3". But working in the middle of a board it's not groovy. Why are there no center markings on the sides of tool? I think I figured out how to line up the tool on the sides now. Not perfect, but close enough. Let's fix that or create a jig team Kreg. Dowels, hand joinery and tenon gizmos are cool. But, glue and my Milwaukee nail guns are slowly become my weapons choice. Pulling the trigger and hearing the CRACK is so so very additive. I should've never bought those nail guns."

"Kreg has done a great job of bringing Festool's functionality to a new market. They improved the fence controls and increased the plate size. The dust collection is okay, but not stellar. The dust hose connection is the same size as the pocket hole jigs so I was ready. The tight mortises are a little looser on thickness. We will see if that matters over time. The reversable reference pins are a nice improvement. I have done a bunch of mortises, and I like it. It take a little learning. Watch the Sedgetool Domino videos on YouTube. They mostly apply to the Edge. It is well made and well thought out. It is a good value. I highly recommend it. 👍👍"
"While I don’t have experience with any “other” machine of this kind I’m impressed with the quality of the Kreg Edge at this price point. While I haven’t used it on a ton of projects since receiving it, it seems like a great addition for me. I’m very pleased with my purchase and excited to use it more often in the future."

"The new Kreg Edge 20V is a fantastic addition to any workshop. It delivers fast, firm joints using loose tenons at a price that finally makes this type of joinery accessible to DIYers and small shops. Out of the box, it was dead‑on accurate with no adjustments needed, easy to use, and the build quality feels solid. Dust and chip removal works well, which was a pleasant surprise. The packaging is strong and protective, ensuring the tool arrives safely, and the manual is detailed, available in both English and Spanish. The Edge excels at connecting material at the ends — it’s quick, reliable, and the joints feel strong. Working in the middle of a board is less straightforward, since there are no center markings to guide alignment. This makes setup a bit trickier and requires extra measurements or improvised guides. A jig or improved markings would make this much easier. One important note: the kit only includes a single small cutter (6 mm) and roughly ten sample tenons. I recommend ordering at least one larger cutter and a supply of tenons in both sizes right away. On the plus side, the cordless design makes the tool very versatile, and the included 4.0Ah battery provides enough runtime for multiple uses without interruption. Despite these minor drawbacks, the Kreg Edge 20V is a joy to use. Mortises are clean and consistent, the fence controls and plate size add stability, and the overall design feels well thought‑out. For anyone who has been waiting for a more affordable alternative to premium joiners, this tool is a worthwhile upgrade that makes loose tenon joinery faster, easier, and more accessible. "I've never owned a Festool Domino, but seems like this does the exact same job at about a third of the price. It's very easy to use, I was able to make clean, lined up mortises after just a few minutes of practice. I would definitely recommend using dust collection, the dust does tend to build up in the mortise and interferes with the cutting, but to me this is not a big deal and I'd rather it go in the vacuum instead of on the floor anyway. I also appreciate that they made the foam holder the right size to fit in a systainer that I bought separately. Great looking product with great results."
"Not having experience with the original "Domino", my point of reference is simply the performance claims of the Edge manufacturer and various Youtubers. In the short time since its arrival I've used the Edge for standard joinery and for breadboard end construction with my own shop made oversized domino's. It still early but in all respects expectations have been met. It's saved me considerable time without sacrificing quality and I plan on incorporating in my normal workflow in the future. Considering the enormous price differential with the original patented product, I cannot imagine any additional features that could justify changing my purchase decision. A lower price on additional cutters would be welcome."
