Reviews
Ok but need caution with thin sheets
"Need to clamp work piece when pulling in clamp to cut line ,also need to put support under for thin pieces oryoursaw shoe will go under guide when ripping 1/4" sheets because of the flex in 1/4" . Does keep your cut straight when using will probably be great for thicker plywood or solid wood."

Professional grade tool
"The quality is without completion in today’s DIY market. This tool is excellent for use at home on on the job site. The aluminum extrusions are true and straight. Edge cuts are as accurate as if they were cut on a kaltenbach saw. High precision polymer end guides with perfect fit. R. Crowson, CMfgE, CMfgT, LSME."

This tool does everything it
"This tool does everything it is supposed to do. I use the main section for shorter cuts and join the two sections together for longer cuts. Holds firmly to your material for a predictable straight cut."

Though this is ma good
"Though this is ma good idea, using it in a practical sense on the job site each day is cumbersome and takes more time than just clamping a 2x4 to your sheet and making a cut. For cabinet making it's probably a viable solution. But using it in ordinary construction certainly is not a time saver."
— John B. (4/5)
Drifts
"Recommend a couple very tight c clamps with it. It drifts."

"Love it.
Built shelves all weekend and the guide worked great!
I broke the handle off just as I was finishing. Do you offer a replacement I can order?"

Sorry but I'm not impressed.
"Sorry but I'm not impressed. I expected to be able to cut 8' lengths. The straight edge seems flimsy."

Q&A
Can the straight edge guide works on 2X4 woods?
You can use this with using only one track.
Is your straight edge guide (Item#: KMA4500) made for cutting a minimum length of 4 feet, or can it be used to for straight cuts of 2 feet or 3 feet? Thank you.
The Straight Edge is two tracks but together so you can use one track if you want by moving the handle to the track with the clamp head.
I see no design feature that ensures perpendicularity cuts to the sheet good clamped edges. How can the operator verify perpendicularity using a framing square for example?
You have two indicator arms that you will line up with your marks on the wood. Then you will move them out of the way before your cut.
Does it work with a warm drive saw
Yes, this will work with a wormdrive
I have the Rip-Cut. How do I get just the straight edge since I already have the sled?
We do not sell those items without the sled. We only have them as a complete kit.
I have battery operated skill saw RYOBI can I use the $39.99 guide for cutting sheet material 4 x8 sheet of plywood
Yes, that will work.
How can I obtain a Thin M5-0.80 nut that I lost from my Kreg Straight Edge Guide Cut Line indicator arms

Most 4×8 ft sheets of melamine are actually 49×97 inches. Will the 4' guide work with this sizing?
Yes, it will work on that size lumber.
What stock number to extend it to 8 ft

What is the Minimum clamp length?
