Q&A

What is the radius of the corners?
The radius is 3/4".
Will this work with Chicago Electric routers?
This plate is undrilled for any certian routers. So you will be drilling the mounting holes to match up to the holes on the router base.
I read a review on Amazon, that the PRS4038 insert only works on Fixed Base Routers, not plunge routers. Is that correct? What about a shop built adjustable height router cradle?
You can use it with either bases.
Does the undrilled come with the screws needed to Mount to router?
No, you will use the screws that hold the glide plate to the router base. If they are not long enough, you will need to purchase longer ones.
What size drill and counter sink bits would be best for a Bosch 1617 router?
That will all depend on the bolt you have. You will need to check that with the mounting bolt head size.
Will a raised panel bit fit?
The Kreg Router Table Insert Plate will work with up to a 3 1/4" router bit.
Will this mounting plate work with the HAPR100 Hammerhead plunge router and CRAFTSMAN router
The Kreg Insert Plates are designed to work with a full size router with at least 2 1/4 HP.
I want to make sure the placement of the mounting holes and lift-adjusting access hole for my router do not interfere with either the central Level-Loc mounting hole or the starting pin hole. What is the diameter of the hole that the Level-Loc rings attach into? Where is the hole for the starting pin located in X-Y coordinates, using the center of the Level-Loc ring hole as the X-Y origin, with the "Kreg" logo right side up? What is the outside diameter of the brass insert that is used for mounting the starting pin? Can you send me a template to compare my router base to?
The complete hole that the red inserts screw into is 3.66". When drilling the mounting holes, you can rotate the router so any of the holes or mechanisms will miss the starting pin.
Bonjour En quel matière est cette plaque de routeur ? C bien en aluminium ? Cordialement Bruno
The plate is made of phenolic material.
Need holes drilled in my insert
We do have 2 plates with predrilled holes. There is the PRS4036 for Porter-Cable or Bosch. There are PRS4034 for Triton. You can also drill your own holes. You can see that happen in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzIwXk8Sxas
