"I got mine with my cordless Edge. I just built a crib side that required 24 joints (48 mortises). The narrow stock guide was critical to getting the mortises in the right place, centered in the spindle. The guide made it quick and easy. If you get the corded Edge, you need to buy the guide separately. Do it. It will help you."
