"So far, im very happy with this product, ive wanted a Festool for a while then found out this one was coming out shortly after the Festool patent ran out. I decided to wait a few months, it was worth it. The price point is great, but the function matches better than the price. I will mainly do 6 and 8 mm tenon. Its very easy to set up and use. I know there will be other brands to come out with there own versions, but im very happy with the Kreg."
"Did a small project cutting about 20 mortises. Had to calibrate the sight glass, but was accurate after the calibration. Tenons fit well and alignment is good. Build seems robust, did have some issues getting a small amount of sawdust out of the tenon even when connected to my dust extractor."
"I was really impressded with how solidly built the unit is. It is feature rich and includes items that others would call accessories not included. Right out the box you have everything you need to use the unit. There is an included bit and a samplig of tenons to get you started. It also includes a foam type of packaing where you can neatly install the unit plus extra loose tenons. I am really excited about the unit and how I can use it going forward. It was definitely worth the wait and the price was affordable"
"Worked fine. Battery lasted through all the joints need for my table project ( about 20 mortises) and seems there is plenty left aas I would expect. Alignment was perfect. There is a litlle play in the sliding mechanism but didn't cause any issues for me. I've given 4 stars for that reason."
"I’ve been using loose tenons for some time but that involves setting up the router and cutting up and dimensioning my own loose tenons to fit. But now I can just quickly make the mortise and shove in the loose tenons to join the pieces together. I had to calibrate the scale at first to get the two lines in the two pieces to line up after cutting the mortises in the two piece, but now the two pieces line up exactly. I’ve been practicing with scrap pieces to try different angles and positions and feel comfortable using it. Did my first project to make a frame to stretch a piece of thin mesh across to project spooky Halloween videos onto in the yard for the upcoming season. Worked great. Getting ready to build a new cutoff sled for the tablesaw and will attach the far side fence with it."

"I got mine on the early release. Very nice tool and its setup and use is almost the same as the other brand. A very nice tool to work with and it has already made itself welcome in my shop. My only issue is that about 2/3 into creating the mortice hole I notice a definite change in sound - almost a different vibration. The end result is fine, but I don't know if there is something I need to be aware of. I have used the other brand and did not have the same experience. I have been in contact with support and have provided all the info requested (they wanted a video of the issue – I explained it is not a visible shaking). I received no communications since. My problem I wish Kreg would resolve is to make sure that quality support is available on products. This is my 2nd attempt at using customer support on different products and had less than stellar results."
