- I’m building raised bed garden boxes and they will have jig holes inside the box where they will be exposed to the garden soil and moisture. Would like a recommendation whether I should use the plastic plugs, wood plugs or no plugs at all. Since they won’t be visible, how they look won’t matter, only if they will offer protection. The boxes will be made with high quality redwood. Thanks.
- If you are using the Blue-Kote, Stainless or XL Screws, you would not need to worry about plugging those as they are made to withstand the elements.

- They are made to slide into the pocket hole. They are not made to snap onto the screws.

- Can the be painted brown and if so what kind of paint do I use and what is the recommended application process.
- These can be painted. I would scuff up the tops and prime with a plastic primer. Then you can paint them the color you would like.
