"It worked great on 3/4 and 1 1/2 items. But when i need it on 1/2 plywood, i had problems. Screws when in and out the other side too long. I had wood split or not hold. So what the trick fof 1/2 wood?"

"got this little jig to build a custom dog crate (can you believe a wooden, two dog crate can go for $3K and up?!!) - anyway, was able to build it in large part thanks to this item helping to hold all the panels securely in place - all the joints are solid! My only issue with this is that it does tend to wobble a little, even when secured down with a clamp - so far, nothing so bad as to cause issues with the crate build or anything else since. Glad to have this in my toolkit."
