"I bought this to keep in my Kreg drill bag for future use. Little did I know that I would end up using it while rebuilding our deck attached to our house. This thing allowed me to drill into some very tight spaces that was totally impossible with a traditional drill. This adapter solves a lot of issues. I just bought your 90 degree pocket hole drive. Does the 90 degree pocket hole driver also work in the reverse direction?: Yes, this can be used in both the forward and backward directions.
size of 90 degree driver: The driver is a 1/4" Hex hookup and a #2 Square driver.
How deep is the driver head? How small an area can I work in?: The driver head alone is 2 ¼” deep, and access will largely depend on the bit being used. The distance from the tip of the supplied 3” driver bit to the back of the driver head is 4 ¾”.
Does this driver come with a bit?: Yes. The Kreg 90 Degree Driver comes with a 3” long, #2 square drive bit that is sized for Kreg Pocket-Hole Screws and other fasteners with a #2 square drive.
What kind of bits work with this driver?: Any hex-shank driver bit with a quick-release detent will work with this driver. If you are using this 90 degree attachment with an impact driver, make sure the driver bit is impact rated.
How does the driver bit lock in place?: The driver bit is locked in place with a mechanical retention clip. This prevents the bit from inadvertently dislodging while in use.
Can I use this driver with a hammer drill?: This product is not recommended for use with a hammer drill.
Does this product use metal components in the gear box?: Yes. This product uses precision metal gears for smooth operation and durability.
