"In the interest of complete disclosure: this is the 2nd one I got, the 1st one was damaged, so they sent me a new one. It was REALLY fast service, and this one works perfectly. The weight and balance are great with or without the battery in place. I'm still in the process of learning all the features, but I think this will be my goto drill/driver for the foreseeable future."

"Recently purchased after looking at the cost to replace batteries for the Rigid Gen5x I have that is about 10 years old. The fit and finish of the Kreg product is better in my opinion and less weight and more compact. I was apprehensive about jumping to a new battery platform but after researching the current and future offerings from Kreg I know I made the right decision. No gimmicky tools, only the tools a DIYer or woodworker actually needs."

"First off, it was delivered fast, one or two days fast. Pretty risky entering into the cordless power tools market. Talk about an epic battle ahead. It's not going to replace my Milwaukee, DEWALT or Makita power tools. I plan on using it with the Pocket-Hole Jig 720PRO. Purchased the impact driver too. I like it when all the colors match. Even bought blue screws. Two things. The trigger and speed selector switch should be a darker color. Can you rubberize the bottom of your batteries. Like Milwaukee and DEWALT batteries."
