Reviews

Very nice quality rip cut

"Very nice quality rip cut jig. Finishing a new garage we just had built and there is no better tool to cut down 4x8 sheets than this rip cut jig. Not to mention the price was good too!"

— Robert G. (5/5)

Great Tool!

"I used my Rip Cut tool I recently purchased for the the first time yesterday and I was so impressed with it. It was so easy to repeat cuts and held a straight edge for repeatable use. The accuracy was also key since I was creating a project that required specific sizes to be duplicated without a excess of remeasuring and tool set up. There was no drift as in a bandsaw which I originally was going to use but instead selected this tool and I was impressed by the performance. Great Job Kreg Team!"

I recently purchased the Kreg

"I recently purchased the Kreg Rip-Cut™ and it has been a fantastic addition to my shop. It makes breaking down large plywood sheets incredibly easy and accurate. The guide rail holds straight, and once it's locked in, the repeatability of the cuts is spot on. It saves a lot of time compared to setting up a traditional clamp-and-straightedge guide. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get table-saw-like precision with a circular saw"

My new Rip-Cut enables easily

"My new Rip-Cut enables easily repeatable rip and crosscuts up to 24 inches in width. The cut width setting is quickly adjustable."

— Preston L. (5/5)

I love the new design.

"I love the new design. There is 1 issue that I dont like. The clamp that allows for adjustment isnt strong enough and it will slip when cutting. Love the product just need to fix this one issue and you'll have it made!"

— Walter B. (4/5)

I like it

"I really like the new rip cut. Before I always had issues with locking down the ruler and you fixed that."

— Don S. (5/5)

Works pretty good, however seems

"Works pretty good, however seems like the bolts to hold your saw are a bit short,it doesn't really hold it tight"

— Donald M. (5/5)

Not accurate

"I have the Kregg track saw, which I love, easy to use and accurate. I needed to make a parallel cut on a long piece of Ash that would have been a pain to put through my table saw and couldn't find an add on to the track saw rail, so I bought this thinking it would be a cheap option. When I loaded up my circular saw to the device, it didn't feel completely secured but I tightened it to the device as much as I could. I made a practice cut and the cut didn't line up to the other edge, it was off by 1/8 inch or so. I don't trust the device and probably won't use it again. I'm not hating on Kregg tools, I have a handful of other Kregg products and are all well designed and work as advertised."

Used it for the first

"Used it for the first time today. Used it to rip a 1/4 sheet of plywood. Need to make sure I clamp the saw base down as tightly as possible. Will use it again soon. Takes a little getting used to"

— Ross S. (4/5)

this one actually works with

"this one actually works with my saw. Have tried other brands but did not work, even though they claimed to work with multi types of saws"

— Bruce T. (5/5)

Q&A

What if your edge is not straight? Can a guide be used for a straight edge?
If your edge is not straight, you will need to purchase the ACS Track system or the Accu-Cut.
Can you use this while the saw blade is at an angle (say 45 degrees) to make a beveled cut?
Yes, you can make bevel cuts with the Rip-Cut. Once you have the saw attached the sled and the saw set to a 45 angle, you want to make sure the blade will not contact the sled.
Will this work with a Hitachi C7SB2 7 1/4 inch circular saw
Yes, that saw will work with the Rip-Cut.
Will this work on the ridgid 7 and 1/4 circular saw? Model #R8657B
Yes, that will work with the Rip-Cut.
Will this work with a Dewalt circular saw?
Yes, most Dewalt saw will work.
Do your tracks and rip cuts work with the worm drive skil saw?
No, they will not work as there are no places for the swinging arms to clamp down.
Where does this ship from? Who do you use as a shipping company? UPS? USPS? FedEx?
If purchased directly from us it ships from our warehouse in Iowa. We use FedEx as our shipper of choice.
Can I buy a replacement ripcut track part? I have the 2 blue parts but I have lost the aluminum part.
We only have the sled as a replacement part.
Does this rip fence work with Makita cordless circular saw XSH03Z?
Yes, that saw will work great on the sled.
Will this fit on a Milwaukee 2730-20 circular saw?
No, it will not as the bottom lip on the swing blade guard is too wide to fit with the sled.
