Kit is not quote to Kreg standards
"The quality of the parts is fine as well as general design, but there are some minor design flaws, and the kit of parts isn't like other Kreg products. The order of instructions for setup need tweaking - I followed them exactly and had to go back and repeat steps for alignment. Also, the design requires an odd sized allen key (4.5mm), so including it would have been helpful. Other Kreg products include the needed small tools. The clamp block does not slide well - some sort of rollers or perhaps a nylon slide bearing would be a design improvement. A rack and pinion would be even better, albeit at a higher price point, but I would have paid it. The need to apply the ruler is awkward, and the instructions need some tweaking there as well, particularly the need to trim its length (would be better to trim before applying). A minor design improvement here would be an extension on the opposite side of zero. A more major improvement would be a sliding or snap-in rule that is secured in place with setscrews, which would allow realignment if necessary later. The current design is absolutely non-forgiving - once it is in place, you are committed, even if you have to live with zero not being zero."
