Infinite clamp placement
"Obviously used with the table clamps. Requires a 3/4 inch hole for placement. Built a 4x8 table dedicated for woodworking and drilled multiple holes at 3 inches on center on x and y axis. This provides infinite clamping positions. My only issue is that towards the center of the table it can be difficult to get the nut started onto the bolt. This could be easily fixed by leaving a 5/8 inch unthreaded taper at the end of the bolt that would guide the nut onto the threads with out having to visualize the orientation"

"See my review for the 6" bench clamps that use this anchor. My worktable is thicker than apparently is considered "normal" and I needed to purchase two bolts half an inch longer than those supplied so I could anchor the clamps tightly and not have to worry about stripping threads under pressure. Not a big deal, but it might be an issue for others."

Bad Design
"The bolts are too short. The bolts needed to be an 1" longer to accomidate quality woodworking benches. What would that have added to the price? The design team blow it! Bad job! Very disappointed."

"I purchased the base for use with both a six and three inch bench clamps on a Kreg bench with dog holes. I am primarily doing wood sculpture and these bench clamps with base allow me to position the workpiece anywhere on the table at any angle. The flexibility is truly unbelievable and these clamps are the best thing since sliced bread."
