"It's NOT "Shelf Pin Jig 5 mm". The Jig holes are 1/4''. It has 1/4'' to 5 mm BIT ONLY. It's Not gonna work for two and more panels at the same time. The Jig should be with the 5 mm holes . No response my questions by the Email technicalsupport@kregtool.com in September 2024. NOT Recommend this KMA-3232 Product."

Will this NEW shelve pin jig, connect to the OLD model shelve pin jig?: No, the newer and older jigs will not connect together.
Why are the pins very loose in the holes when I try drilling pine for my shelves?: You will want to make sure you are using the correct pins with the size of bit you have. There are two different size bits and pins.

I currently have the 1/4" jig but need to do some 5mm holes. Do you sell the harden steel inserts, guide pins and drill bit to convert over the jig? If so, what are the part numbers.: The only difference between the 1/4" jig and the 5 mm jig is the drill bit. All you will need to purchase is the KMA3215 5mm drill bit and then the 5mm shelf pins. The bit itself tapers down down allowing you to use the same jig for both bits.
Is it possible to setback the jig 5 inches from the front edge for a narrower shelf?: Yes, you can remove the fence and place the jig wherever needed on your workpiece. You will just want to make sure that it is securely clamped in place before drilling.
Can I buy just the 1/4" drill bit to go with the 5mm set?: Yep. You can use either size bits in the Pin Jigs.
You say its exspandable where does one get the exspantion at or is this a spend another $40 to do so: To expand the your Shelf Pin Jig, you will purchase another unit.
Can the 5mm & 1/4" drill bits be used with the KMA 3232 jig?: Yes, both shelf pin bits can be used in either Jigs.
I see the jig has a fence that can be moved from one side to the other. By using the fence on either side of the jig will the line of holes be set back 37mm from the front edge? I ask because the fence on the old jig did not provide a 37mm setback.: That back set is 1.45" (37 mm).
Is this jig compatible with the 32MM system of building cabinets?: Yes. Besides the 32MM spacing between the holes, the fence allows 37MM spacing from edge, allowing proper placement of: European style hinge plates on frameless cabinets and First hole placement of most side mount drawer slides on frameless cabinets
