Reviews
I recently purchased the Kreg
"I recently purchased the Kreg Rip-Cut™ and it has been a fantastic addition to my shop. It makes breaking down large plywood sheets incredibly easy and accurate. The guide rail holds straight, and once it's locked in, the repeatability of the cuts is spot on. It saves a lot of time compared to setting up a traditional clamp-and-straightedge guide. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get table-saw-like precision with a circular saw"

I do not love this
"I do not love this accessory. I have to say that your products reflect some severely poor engineering. The Rip-Cut is flimsy, due to the cheap materials used on it. It is clumsy and time consuming to attach my saw, Yes. you can get a straight cut, but it isn't worth putting it on the saw and taking it back off when you don't need it. Reattaching it is a chore. So. I just won't use this - any more than I will use the 5 gallon dust filter gizmo I bought from you, which leaked. I threw it away, and I will most likely throw this Rip-Cut thing away, too. You make your products look great in your ads, but this is what ads are for. . Fool me twice! I dare you to post this review. Buyers BEWARE!!"

Purchased the rip it for
"Purchased the rip it for a project that required plywood being cut to size and my table saw is very old and not accurate. This tool did the trick and was very easy to use."

Great tool, but missing parts.
"Purchased this to rip pvc board for batten strips. upon opening and assembling, I discovered, I was missing two of the part J, small thumb screw wheels, used on the saw brackets. I was able to put together and complete the job, just would be nice to have all the parts when dropping 50 bucks. Otherwise, the rip guide worked flawlessly. Would definitely recommend this product to others. Would be five stars with all the parts."

Great product like all other
"Great product like all other Kreg products I have bought. Easy to setup and easy to use. We liked it so much we bought a second one so when we have more than one project going on we could have them both setup and going at the same time. Highly recommend."

Not what I expecteed
"Not what I expected. Don't get me wrong, it seems to to a good job but it's all plastic pieces, and it just doesn't feel like what I paid for. Maybe I should of kept looking but thought Kreg was a good brand so I bought this.
It just seems flimsy and I fell like it will break real easy. But, it has worked but I'm very gentle with it."

Wished I had this years
"Wished I had this years ago. What a great dedign and tool"

I was excited to purchase
"I was excited to purchase this product from Kreg. However, i was surprised how cheaply it looked and was made. The tool is constructed almost entirely of plastic and takes sometime to set up for use. The bolts to hold your skillsaw in place need to be reimagined for easier and more complete use. I see now why I should have invested in a good track saw."

Q&A
What if your edge is not straight? Can a guide be used for a straight edge?
If your edge is not straight, you will need to purchase the ACS Track system or the Accu-Cut.
Can you use this while the saw blade is at an angle (say 45 degrees) to make a beveled cut?
Yes, you can make bevel cuts with the Rip-Cut. Once you have the saw attached the sled and the saw set to a 45 angle, you want to make sure the blade will not contact the sled.
Will this work with a Hitachi C7SB2
7 1/4 inch circular saw
Yes, that saw will work with the Rip-Cut.
Will this work on the ridgid 7 and 1/4 circular saw? Model #R8657B
Yes, that will work with the Rip-Cut.
Will this work with a Dewalt circular saw?
Yes, most Dewalt saw will work.
Do your tracks and rip cuts work with the worm drive skil saw?
No, they will not work as there are no places for the swinging arms to clamp down.
Where does this ship from?
Who do you use as a shipping company? UPS? USPS? FedEx?
If purchased directly from us it ships from our warehouse in Iowa. We use FedEx as our shipper of choice.
Can I buy a replacement ripcut track part? I have the 2 blue parts but I have lost the aluminum part.
We only have the sled as a replacement part.
Does this rip fence work with Makita cordless circular saw XSH03Z?
Yes, that saw will work great on the sled.
Will this fit on a Milwaukee 2730-20 circular saw?
No, it will not as the bottom lip on the swing blade guard is too wide to fit with the sled.

Turn an ordinary circular saw into a precision edge-guided cutting tool
Great projects start with high-quality cuts, and you can make those cuts — more easily than you ever imagined — using your circular saw plus the Rip-Cut™ Circular Saw Edge Guide.
The Kreg® Rip-Cut turns your circular saw into a precision edge-guided cutting tool that makes straight, accurate, repeatable cuts in plywood, MDF, and other large sheets. With the Rip-Cut circular saw guide, you can cut with the confidence you want and the precision you need.
The Rip-Cut easily makes straight, accurate, repeatable cuts without measuring, marking, or having to keep the saw on the cut line. The Rip-Cut does this with a long edge guide that follows the straight edge of the sheet you are cutting. All you have to do is lock the saw in at the measurement you want — up to 24" — using the built-in measuring scale, and then make your cut.
With a built-in measuring scale, you don’t have to measure and mark each cut, either. Just lock the saw sled at your desired cut width, and you're all set, whether you need to cut one piece or make multiple pieces of the exact same size. Plus, the Rip-Cut makes it easier to cut down large sheets by yourself.
The Rip-Cut circular saw guide is very easy to use. Simply mount your saw to the Universal Sled — it accepts most left-blade or right-blade saws — and then slide the sled onto the aluminum rail. After a simple one-time calibration, you can lock in your cut width (up to 24") using the measuring scale and precision cursor. Then, just hold the edge guide against the edge of your sheet as you guide the saw. You’ll get straight, accurate, repeatable cuts easily every time.
Not intended for use with worm drive saws. Not recommended for saws with a plastic upper blade guard, as it can affect accuracy.
