The Square-Cut™ allows you to quickly and accurately crosscut boards up to 12" (305mm) wide. Whether you’re using a circular saw or a jigsaw, the Square-Cut™ ensures great results. Just position the Square-Cut™ against the edge of your board and the built-in guide arm ensures that it sits perfectly square.

Plus, the guide arm is adjustable, so you can set it to match the offset between the edge of the saw base and blade. Simply position the end of the guide arm on your cut line, and the Square-Cut™ will be automatically aligned to guide your saw through the cut. That eliminates the guesswork of having to align your blade by eye, and then hold the keep it on the line as you cut. With the Square-Cut™, you’ll get great crosscuts every time.

Works Great: if you respect yourself

This thing works like a dream and couldn't be better especially at the price. I suggest owning a real circular saw if you want better results. Cryobi P506 users need not apply.

A bit to light weight

Personally I would have liked to see the main part made from aluminum with the guide still plastic. It would give it some weight, it's a bit too flimsy. Instead of little pads that keep coming off bigger pads would have been better I think. Works okay. Could be better.

Square cut

I have 2 of these and I would not be without one. The reason I have 2 is because I have 2 different sizes of saws and I have one for each saw.

Works great on my Ryobi saw, after a trim.

By default the arm is a little too long for the left mount blade on my Ryobi cordless saw. So I adjust the arm all the way in, lined it up on a 2x4 and with a finishing blade, trimmed the end of the arm on the Square-Cut. Worked great and now I can make really accurate square cuts anywhere.

Doesn't work with Ryobi 18v cordless circular saw P506

I agree with Alex Qian. The adjustable arm sticks out a tad bit too much even at the shortest setting when used with the Ryobi P506.
