"This replaced my 45 year old craftsman table top router. The primary reason for the table was the lift system from another company in combination with this table. I took a router basics class just to get ideas. I can now make jigs and use hardware from a popular company."

"I like this table very much. It is very stable, and the only issue I’ve encountered involves my JessEm router lift — the mounting screws are just slightly off. I understand that adapters are available to lock it down properly, but I haven’t been able to locate them yet. That said, the fit is very snug, and I haven’t experienced any problems because the workpiece itself helps hold everything in place during use. Previously, I owned a Bosch RA1141 Portable Benchtop Router Table, which had a very poor router holding mechanism that relied on a small pin. While using it, the router came loose, and I was fortunate not to be injured. That experience made me much more aware of the importance of solid construction and secure mounting. I did transfer a few useful components from the Bosch table to this one. I moved the start/stop switch over, since the design allows for that option, and I also reused the accessory trays. Overall, the Kreg table is sturdier and better built. The all-metal frame and solid tabletop make it feel much more dependable and confidence-inspiring during operation. Based on my experience, I would recommend it."

"Pros: • Highly Repeatable Cuts: The stop locks firmly in place, letting you return to the same cut multiple times without guesswork. • Easy to Adjust: Quick-release lever makes sliding and repositioning smooth. • Clear Scale & Cursor: Works well with Kreg’s measuring tape system for precise fence positioning. • Durable Build: Solid aluminum body, doesn’t feel flimsy. Cons: • Fence Dependency: Precision is only as good as the flatness of your fence. If the fence is nicked (like in your case), the stop can’t perform at its best. • Size Limitation: Best for medium-to-large workpieces. Small stock can sometimes feel awkward against the stop. Bottom Line: The router table stop is a reliable, well-engineered accessory that does exactly what it’s supposed to — improve repeatability. For users doing production runs or needing precise duplication, it’s a big help. But its full value shows only if the rest of the router table system (fence + measuring tape) is properly aligned and defect-free."
