With Automaxx, there's no fussing with knobs that adjust the clamp capacity, no fiddling to get the exact pressure you want, no need for thickness adjustment at all - just powerful, predictable clamping every time. Below are some helpful hints to ensure your clamping experience is consistent every time. Remove the clamp from the packaging and test the clamp pressure on your material. If you are happy with the pressure of the clamp, no further adjustment is needed. If you would like more/less clamping pressure, simply open the clamp handles fully. Once open, turn set screw one-half turn (to the positive for more pressure, to the negative for less pressure) to adjust. Try out the clamp on the same material and repeat these steps until the desired pressure is found. Once you are happy with the clamping pressure, the clamp will maintain this same pressure until you change the setting again. If you would like to increase or decrease clamping pressure, follow the previous steps until the appropriate pressure is met.
