Description

Transform your circular saw into a high-performance, track-guided cutting system

Start projects right by making straight, accurate, splinter-free cuts with your circular saw and the Accu-Cut™ Circular Saw Guide Track System. It rips, crosscuts and makes angled cuts up to 48" long in plywood, MDF, and other large panels with super simple setup, precise accuracy, and amazing control.

The Accu-Cut guides your circular saw along an aluminum track that keeps the saw moving in a straight line easily. The Accu-Cut™ design makes it simple to set up by just aligning the track with your cut line. No clamps are required to hold the track in place thanks to dual guide strips. They feature an anti-slip coating to prevent slipping, and an anti-chip feature to prevent splintered cuts. Plus, the track makes it easy to make straight cuts on sheets that don't have a straight, flat edge.

Circular saws don’t have effective guides that keep them moving straight along a cut line. Plus, it can be difficult to see the blade’s cutting path. Together, these things make it challenging to keep a saw on your desired cut. Circular saws also often cause splintering of face veneers. The Accu-Cut™ solves these problems. The Accu-Cut™ is portable, too, so you can take your saw to the workpiece and cut with precision, rather than having to handle heavy sheets on a table saw.

The Accu-Cut™ is easy and intuitive for a novice to use, but robust enough for professionals. Because it eliminates the need to keep the saw straight and manually guide the saw along a cut line, the Accu-Cut™ is ideal for less-experienced users. Accu-Cut™ also makes professionals faster and more productive because it makes a variety of cuts quickly and easily in the shop and on the job site.

Works just fine

Got this today and worked fine. Not sure why some guys are having trouble putting it together but no problems on my end. After I made my trim cut it was right on the money, again, not sure why some guys are having trouble, mine was right on the mark every time, maybe some are using the wrong blade.

Works good but could have been better

I bought this hoping to solve a big issue of breaking down sheet goods. However, the the fittment is not as precise as I would hope. For jobs that tight, precise cuts are not necessary, then this will work.

Returned it

My wife was excited to try this out on a project she was working on so we went out and purchased one. After completing the way too complicated assembly process we found it very cumbersome to use and certainly wasn't worth the money. We went back to using a circular saw guide that clamped to the material. I enjoy other Kreg products but I wouldn't recommend this one.

Extension kit

My very first thought when I saw this was " I wonder how much the 8' extension kit costs? " Looks like a very nice product but without the 8' extension, I'm not a buyer.

Great addition to shop

I'm not typically big on writing product reviews, though I always read them. In this case I need to offer my opinion. Kreg tools have always performed as advertised and the Accu-Cut did as well and in fact far exceeded my expectations. As the owner of a small furniture building and refinishing business, I can't afford or house a large panel saw. I bought the Accu-Cut to get me through a 48" x 48" coffee table project with multiple cuts of 5/4 wood. The Accu-Cut performed flawlessly with no lateral movement of the track and no clamping required with precise cuts every time. Next project are cabinets and this tool will play an integral part of the build. Great investment at a reasonable cost.
