Stainless steel screws are best

"Stainless steel screws are best way to go with outdoor projects or in wet basements. Also use S. S. screws for other projects like repairing wood fencing when I need good holding power. Ken"

I paid $26.99 and received

"I paid $26.99 and received 100 screws. I went to my local hardware store and saw the same 100 screws for $9.98 and their 500 screw count (which is what I wanted to order, but wasn't available through your web site) for $29.98. I've used your products for over 30 years, this is the first time that I have been very dissatisfied with Kreg."

Q&A

Can these screws be used with the Kreg Mini jig that has a smaller diameter?
The Mini Jig (3/8" hole) will use all our standard screws. If you are referring to the Micro jig (19/64" hole), you will need the pan headed screws.
I have some Stainless Steel with Fine Thread and Maxi-Loc Head, item SML-F125S5-100 screws. Are these equivalent to #6 or #8 screws?
These screws are a #7.
Are the screws 304 or 316 Stainless Steel? I am on the water (Ocean) and would defiantly need the 316.
The stainless screws are a 305.
Will coarse thread screws work for hardwood? I need to join some 2 inch oak but can not find 2 1/2 " long fine thread screws
They will work but you will want to be careful when driving in the screws. If you see any sort of struggle to drive them in, you will want to back the screw out and then drive it in again. Keep doing that method till the screw is completely seated in.
Are these screws safe for MRI and radiology spaces?
The Stainless screws are made out of solid 305 stainless
what type of stainless steel are these made from?
They are Stainless 305
I need 1 1/2" fine outdoor screws. Do you make them? I need to use them on pressure treated wood. If you don't make them in Fine can I use Coarse?
We do not make outdoor screws in fine thread in that length.
Are the Kreg Stainless Steel Screws 316?
The Stainless Screws are 305
Why don't your products show screw size? The SML-C250S5 are #10 (which I was trying to replenish) while SML-C250B appears to be #8 (did not open as I intend to return). Doing railings for a deck so want SS and #10. The 250B was all Rockler had and I assumed was same size until I got home. If screw size were on the packaging and on the web site it would make choosing a lot easier.
When choosing screw, you choose the length, head and thread style. Once you choose that, the thickness is chosen for you.
nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneed a 3 1/2 screw for pressure treated wood is it available?
I am sorry to say we do not manufacture a 3 1/2" stainless steel screw. The longest stainless steel screw we manufacture will be 2 1/2".
