Faulty positioning pin
"Received the miter gauge and it was very well built with one exception. The brass positioning pin once installed was almost impossible to get back out, it required two blocks of wood and a mallet. The pin did not go into any of the holes easily so now I will have to polish the pin to make it fit and to remove the burred area on it"

"Nice looking product. There was some flash left in the aluminum bar that I had to clean out before I could install the nylon set screws. Also, they provided six little plastic glides and the instructions show where four go but no mention of the other two."

"It maybe better for a cabinet saw but the T-Bar is too long for contractor saw. I have a Dewalt 7491 folding contractor saw. The T-Bar is too long for it. The only thing that holds the T-Bar in the track is a washer at the very tip and this runs out of the shorter slot on the Dewalt. Also, I found the assembly instructions a bit hard to follow. I lost two of the bottom glides trying to force them in and I almost broke the plastic bushings on the Swing Stop assembly because I didn't realize they are keyed. The guide as it comes is only useful for up to a 23" piece, I regular make picture frames longer than that. I made an auxiliary fence for it to extend the length but that doesn't extend the Swing Stop travel. I don't know why an optional additional Fence Extrusion isn't offered to extend out to 48". Instead one has to purchase and expense package with additional hardware that isn't needed to extend the fence. However, the gauge is well made and sturdy and accurate."

- Will this miter gauge work on a SawStop Professional Table Saw?
- The miter bar on these measures 3/4"x3/8". So if that miter slot measures that, it will work.
- POSITIONING PIN - Storage & Prevent Losing? How do you prevent the pin from coming out and being lost when you miter gauge is not in use, and you want or need to store it away i.e. side of table saw, handing on wall, or inside a cabinet, etc. The pin does not attach or screw in; just push-in. Furthermore, theirs no hole in the pin either for i.e. a cord or string (like wrist loop for devices and electronics), wire, or small chain.
- At this time, we do not have any type of storage solutions for the miter gauge.
- I have a Craftsman tablesaw that has tabbed miter slots. Will this be compatible with my saw?
- The miter slot needs to be 3/4" x 3/8" with straight sides to let this Gauge to work.
- Can your 7102 mitre be mounted on the right side of my delta table saw blade with no issues?
- As long as the miter slot measures 3/4" x 3/8".
- My Makita table saw has a narrower miter slot. Do you sell a piece that will fit my Makita saw

- As long as that dewalt table has a 3/4" x 3/8" straight side miter slot, it will work.
- It says it will fit a standard 3/4" x 3/8" slot does that include a t-slot?
- That will be the miter slot striaght sides. That will not include the slot on the bottom side of some miter slots.
- Is there a longer fence available?
- That is the longest fence that will work.
