Description

Why spend your time calibrating a miter gauge when you can get amazing accuracy right out of the box? Our Precision Miter Gauge System requires no calibrating and features positive stops at 0°, 10°, 22½°, 30° and 45° to make it easy to cut accurate miters quickly.

Of course, when you do want to cut a more complicated angle, the easy-to-use Vernier scale allows for fast adjustments to 1/10th of a degree.

Plus, the Precision Miter Gauge System offers a long, anodized aluminum fence and stop system that let you easily make accurate, repeatable cuts.

Perfect Miters, Fast!
Precision is the name of the game for this CNC-milled miter gauge. We worked to build accuracy into every feature of this product, from the rugged aluminum fence to the solid yet versatile Swing Stop, to the easy-to-use yet amazingly accurate Vernier scale. With all of its great features, this miter gauge will give you better, more accurate cuts to ensure project success.

Precision Lens Cursor
Similar to the type of lens found on a quality table saw rip fence, the clear lens features a high-visibility red line that makes it easy to set the Swing Stop for precise cuts, time after time.

No Play in the Miter Slot
Our extremely straight 24" (610mm) anodized-aluminum bar is 3/8" (9.5mm) thick by 3/4" (19mm) wide and features five bar adjusters that you can use to eliminate “play” in the miter slot with the turn of a screwdriver.

Swing Stop
The Swing Stop slides effortlessly along the fence of the Precision Miter Gauge and locks securely into place with the turn of a knob. It also features a curved foot that lets you easily swing the stop temporarily out of the way without having to remove it. That means you can quickly square one end of a board, flip it around, and then cut it to final length without ever moving the stop.

Bandsaw

I got the Kreg items # KMS7102 and KMS7200 and KMS7215 and KMS7213 and KMS7214 all in the fall of 2015 for my 14" bandsaw and at the same time I pick up a INCRA miter 1000HD for my 10" table saw . Nether one has been setup and put into use at this time . But what I can testify to from just taking them out of the boxes and looking them over is that the Kreg miter gauge is a way better deal for your dollars if you need a high quality miter gauge and your on a budget . The INCRA miter 1000HD has a lot of bells and whistle and moving parts and it maybe just a little bit better for the table saw . But the the cost of the INCRA miter 1000HD is double that of the Kreg KMS7102 and for just the few extras tidbits that the INCRA has like the Telescoping Fence from 18" to 31" and the Dual Arm Flip Shop Stop and the fine-tuning of the fence perfectly perpendicular to your saw tabletop just doesn't add up to the extra hundred plus dollars that you pay out over the Kreg miter gauge . But as I said at the start I got my Kreg KMS7102 JUST FOR THE BANDSAW ONLY .

Just one draw back

I have had this item for a while now and love it and it's simplicity. The only fault I can give it is the glue that holds the yellow measurements was not the best and allowed water to get in which eventually erased the numbers all together. Now will need to replace this measurement sticker.

outstanding product

I just got this miter gauge yesterday. it took me about 20 minutes to set it up. I am very impressed with the quality of the miter gauge and how great it works with my table saw. I would highly recommend this miter gauge to my fellow woodworkers.

Best I have had

I have tried a number of third party miter gauges, including the Incra for the Shopsmith. I have found this to be the easiest and most accurate of all so far, the machined stops are so close to perfect that short of doing work on a NASA shuttle it can be used for just about any job. The plastic grub nuts for setting the bar can be a little tedious, if like me you have a T slot that requires complete withdrawal to make changes, but once done it only requires the usual attention to detail and occasional adjustment. The only area where I could see a real value improvement would be the integration of a genuine hold down clamp, similar to those seen on Shopsmith and Incra shopsmith units. Using any of a variety of clamps works, but something that works well with small length cuts would be fabulous. Likewise with heavy timbers that get drawn to the blade when mitering. These issues apply to all guides, what the Kreg does do, it does better than the rest.
