"Quick, professional and courteous response to my call and order response. I had to replace a jig bit that I had basically worn out. Over the years I have dealt with a number of companied in the process of ordering variou construction materials. It has always been a true pleasure to call Kreg and have a live person respond. “Very” few companies have maintained their courteous. professional amd intelligent manner in which they respond to customers. I have a number of Kreg products and have benefited from their engineering research that is put into all of the various tools, jigs, etc. I have heard similar view from colleagues regarding their reactions to their use of Kreg products’ use and reliability of built products."

Q&A

I need to bore a 5/16" deep hole (35mm diameter) for a hinge cup made for thin doors. Do you make replacement bits (for the concealed hinge jig) with various drilling depths?: We only have the one style bit that will drill roughly 1/2" deep. You could put a washer under the stop collar to make the bit not drill as deep.
Will this bit fit Rockler Jig-it concealed hinge jig?: We have only tested this bit with our Hinge Jig.
Can this bit be used in a router?: This bit has only been tested with using a standard drill.
