If you’re adding shelf pin holes to an existing piece of furniture or building shelves from scratch, the Shelf Pin Jig is the perfect tool for the job. Unlike other shelf pin guides, the Kreg Shelf Pin Jig features hardened-steel drill guides that ensure precise and straight drilling, so you’ll get level, wobble-free shelves.

The Shelf Pin Jig also includes a dual-position, adjustable fence for custom hole placement, a locating pin for quick and accurate spacing reference, a jig extender that lets you connect multiple Shelf Pin Jigs together for high-speed production work, and an ultra-sharp 1/4" (6mm) brad-point bit with depth collar that can be stored on the bottom side of the Shelf Pin Jig when not in use.

Hardened-Steel Drill Guides
Unlike thin and flexible guides, the hardened-steel drill guides of the Kreg Shelf Pin Jig ensure each and every hole you drill is perfectly straight and true. Plus, all Kreg hardened-steel drill guides come with a lifetime warranty.

Perfect for Building or Adding Holes to Existing Furniture
The compact size of the Shelf Pin Jig makes it perfect for adding additional shelf pin holes in existing furniture, as well as for building projects from scratch. Need more length for additional speed? Connect multiple Shelf Pin Jigs together with the included Jig Extender.

Tool-Free Quick-Switch Fence
The built-in Quick-Switch Fence allows you to set your pin holes 1" (25mm) or 2" (50mm) from the edges of your project. The fence can be easily removed and switched to the other side of the jig, or removed completely when you need to work inside a confined space.

Standard Hole Size and Spacing
Kreg hardened-steel drill guides are centered on standard 32mm spacing. The jig comes complete with a 1/4" (6mm) drill bit that fits commonly available shelf-pins. A 5mm drill bit is also available separately.

This jig works great. Fits 1/4"shelf pins perfectly.

Great tool, confusing specs

I used this to create a floor to ceiling shelf enclosure for either side of the fireplace and it worked perfectly...until I purchased standard 1/4" shelf pins. The holes are too small. The confusion I believe is the "1/4" (6mm) spec is really 6 mm which is 0.236", just small enough to preclude using standard 1/4" shelf pins. That meant another trip to pick up 5mm (0.196") shelf pins which now seem too loose in the holes.

Outstanding Tool!

Used the shelf pin jig yesterday for the first time for a major shelving project in home. This is absolutely the most wonderful jig I have ever used. Very very precise and so easy to use. Plan on getting two or three more since they can be interlocked for a longer span. Have found no fault with any of the Kreg products that I have bought!

"Top Notch"

This jig couldn't be easier to use! Takes the guess work out of placement and depth of hole. Well made and worth the investment. Take the plunge and purchase one. You'll be glad you did.
