Durability is laughable
I own quite of few of the Kreg products and have been very satisfied for the most part. So I wanted a storage box to hold some of these items and recently went to Woodcraft to purchase one. After reading that it was built with "Durable Construction" and "the perfect place to store and organize all of your Kreg Joinery system parts" and had "A pair of heavy-duty clasps ensure that lid stays shut" I thought this was gonna a great storage solution. Well the jokes on me! This thing has PLASTIC CLASPS to hold the lid shut! Durable??? Are you kidding me??? All the Dewalt, Milwaukee, Ridgid storage cases, for the most part, maybe not all, have metal hinges and clasps, at least the part of the latching system that hooks over the lid is metal. This thing has PLASTIC hooks to hold the lid down, and they are so thin, how long can that last before it snaps and then I'm stuck using duct tape or a bungee strap to hold my lid shut, JK. Needless to say I did not purchase this thing, and unless they improve significantly nor will I be purchasing one. After being so satisfied with my other Kreg purchases and the quality of their products this was a huge let down. No way they should ever produce something this flimsy and cheap and put the Kreg name on it. Durable it is not.
